Paris’s oldest train station was overhauled through a major renewal project called "Cœur de Gare”, managed by SOAVAL.
For this project, SPIE Île-de-France Nord-Ouest’s Commercial Sector Electrical Contracting Department was awarded a contract for the high-voltage and low-voltage electrical installation work worth €7 million.
The contract, which began in January 2009, included the development of electrical equipment for a shopping complex with 93 stores and restaurants located on three levels, as well as two underground parking levels.
On March 21, 2012, the new facilities were inaugurated, welcoming the 120 million passengers who use the station every year.
