Contributing to poland’s largest wind project

With this project, comprising two new onshore wind fields in northwestern Poland, the client sought to contribute to the country’s energy independence and energy transition. 

SPIE brought its electrical expertise to the installation of these two wind farms, adding a bay of 110 kV switchgear to an existing substation, building a new substation and creating 110 kV and 30 kV cable routes. With a total capacity of 186 MW, the two wind farms can produce enough clean energy to meet the demands of 250,000 households.
