Equipping Ploemeur with LED lighting

In France, the municipality of Ploemeur chose SPIE for a 12-year public lighting contract, citing the expertise of the Group’s teams, their knowledge of the commune and their dedication to sustainable progress.

With this new contract, Ploemeur sought to further pursue its smart city objectives, seeking SPIE’s expertise on how to improve energy efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions.
In the framework of a 18-month contract, SPIE’s engineers are in charge of equipping the entire commune with the latest generation of LED lights.
They are also renovating 700 lampposts, securing a total of 14 km of overhead and underground networks and equipping the town’s 140 cabinets with remote management by means of LoRa networking. SPIE's technicians are providing on-going maintenance for the duration of the contract.
