The Métropole du Grand Paris was established to improve the quality of life of its 7.2 million residents while developing a sustainable model of urban, social and economic development.
To encourage the use of electrical vehicles across the region, the Métropole turned to SPIE and its partners in the Metropolis consortium. SPIE's teams installed and operated more than 5,000 park-and-charge points across 123 of the region’s 131 municipalities, significantly expanding the access of charging points to residents.
