A high-power charging station network founded by some of the largest automotive companies in the world, IONITY stations are present throughout the European Union and aim to bring e-mobility to all. After SPIE successfully completed a contract to build 103 stations and prepare 66 others in 9 countries by 2020, IONITY renewed its confidence in SPIE with further contracts for projects in Germany, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
SPIE delivered four new fast-charging stations in Germany that deliver electricity from 100% renewable energy, and five in Hungary. In Slovakia and the Czech Republic, SPIE installed six stations that they continue to operate and manage, an important step towards expanding the low amount of charging sites in the two countries. For all these projects, SPIE provided complete management plans that covered all steps from surveys and design works to installation and commissioning.
