They chose SPIE to install all the electrical equipment, including turbines and generators, and handle the electrical engineering.

Since electricity generation from hydropower has the highest degree of efficiency compared with other production methods, the turbines and generators installed by SPIE can convert up to 90% of the generated hydropower into electricity and feed it directly into the grid. The plant thus generates enough electricity to supply 10,000 households, while avoiding 32,886 tonnes of CO2. SPIE’s role in this project directly contributed to the energy transition in this sensitive tourism region.
