Improving Amsterdam’s premises sustainability
In 2019, Amsterdam awarded SPIE Nederland the maintenance of three of its six building sections with the aim to make them more sustainable, according to the climate agreement.

SPIE Nederland is maintaining for the next two years several buildings of the Amsterdam Council: municipal district offices, parent-child centres & city gardens and council waste collection areas.
This contract includes the maintenance of HVAC, sanitary and security systems as well as electrical and mechanical installations. SPIE can handle the entire scope of the e-fficient building market thanks to the support of the various business units within this segment.
SPIE is actively developing technical solutions to make the Amsterdam Council’s installations more energy-efficient and their buildings more sustainable in order to comply with the climate agreement. The Tech FM business unit is responsible for this contract.
