Installation and modernisation of street lighting in Poland

The largest lighting modernisation project in Poland, which took place in Kalisz and was handled by SPIE, saw the installation of 13,759 energy-saving LED lights and 2,803 lighting poles.

To the southwest, in Lubin, SPIE was responsible for installing 107 km of power lines to supply municipal lighting. The Group also installed 2,618 lighting poles and more than 3,129 lights. 

In both cities, SPIE installed individual control systems which enable lighting to be remotely controlled and monitored through a centralised online application. SPIE also performed photometric measurements of luminance and intensity. All works were performed with particular care taken for environmental requirements, applicable laws and standards, technical requirements and contract terms.
