Volksbank Mainspitze, a banking group in Germany, needed to migrate its telecommunications systems and data interchange environment. Serving around 35,400 private and corporate clients both online and in-person, the group was especially interested in ensuring the security of its systems while also increasing their environmental efficiency.
SPIE was selected to perform the complete migration of the telecommunication system as well as to modernise the current software, replacing it with state-of-the-art efficient equipment. Part of SPIE’s customised offer for this client is to optimise their system through a Power over Ethernet (POE) solution, which improves system security and performance while also lowering power consumption.
