The French Institute for Ocean Science, known as Ifremer, is an influential agent for ocean preservation and is building a new research complex in Nantes. To help Ifremer meet their energy management goals, SPIE is working with them from project design to servicing, with a commitment to maintain optimal energy consumption and
operating costs through the building’s first 5 years of use.

This contract demonstrates the benefits of the One SPIE approach for clients, with two subsidiaries working together to propose innovative and effective technical solutions for the building’s electrical and climate engineering.
