Cergy, 7 July 2014 –The Annual General Meeting of SPIE announces the appointment of Regine Stachelhaus as an independent member of its Board of Directors with effect from 7 July 2014.
Regine Stachelhaus, 59, is German and began her career as a lawyer specialising in employment law and software licensing before joining Hewlett-Packard GmbH in 1984. She held several leading managerial positions before serving as Managing Director from 2000 to 2009. In May 2002, she was also appointed Vice-President of Imaging and Printing Group (Hewlett-Packard GmbH).
Regine Stachelhaus served as Executive Secretary of the German Committee for UNICEF from January 2009 to May 2010, and was subsequently appointed Head of Human Resources and member of the Board of Directors of E.ON SE (June 2010 – June 2013), a major energy company included in the Eurostoxx 50 index, which generated €122 billion in sales in 2013.
Regine Stachelhaus has been a Director of the British Group Computacenter Plc since July 2013.
