Cergy, 7 July 2014 – The Annual General Meeting of SPIE announces the appointment of Sophie Stabile, Chief Financial Officer of the Accor Group, as an independent member of its Board of Directors with effect from 7 July 2014.
Sophie Stabile, 44, is a graduate of the French Ecole Supérieure de Gestion et Finance. She began her career with Deloitte, before joining Accor in 1999 to head the Group’s Consolidation and Information System Department. In 2006, she was appointed Group Controller-General, responsible for supervising the consolidation process, International Finance Departments and the Financial Control, Internal Audit, Group Holding Company and Financial Back-office Departments.
In May 2010, she was appointed Chief Financial Officer. In addition to her former responsibilities, she is now also in charge of Investor Relations, Cash Management, Tax Affairs and Procurements since 2013. She has been a member of Accor’s Executive Committee since August 2010.
