Ratingen, 4 January 2022 – SPIE GmbH is now called SPIE Efficient Facilities GmbH – the new name that the German subsidiary of SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa is taking underlines its focus as a partner for a climate-neutral and digital future even more clearly.

SPIE GmbH called SPIE Efficient Facilities GmbH from 1 January 2022 on

The change of name to SPIE Efficient Facilities GmbH highlights even more clearly the focus as the leading service provider in technical facility management: “We are accompanying our customers on the path to a climate-neutral and digital future. We support our customers with smart solutions and innovative services as they focus their efforts on efficiency, sustainability and compliance with CSR requirements”, says Rainer Hollang, Member of the exécutive committee of SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa and Managing Director of SPIE Efficient Facilities GmbH. Contact persons and structures are not affected by the change of name.

“Go! Green” – the solutions that SPIE offers for a climate-neutral future

The enhancement of the profile includes the comprehensive range of solutions called “Go! Green”, which accompany companies and public institutions on the path to a climate-neutral future. “A credible sustainability strategy is a clear competitive advantage for companies and public institutions. At SPIE, we take a holistic look at how energy is handled. Well-founded analyses provide us with the basis for developing tailored energy-efficiency solutions for our customers in order to reduce climate-damaging emissions and energy consumption. We provide support for our customers from a single source all the way from the initial consultancy to implementation – this is what our range of solutions known as Go! Green stands for”, explains Rainer Hollang.

Digital solutions reveal potential for optimisation

SPIE applies digital solutions where potential optimisation can be revealed. By analysing energy and volume data, consumption and energy performance indicators of different periods can be compared, potential can be uncovered and energy performance indicators can be monitored continually. At the same time, digital tools enable continuous improvements for reducing consumption and CO2 emissions to be implemented and maintained without major effort and make it easier to obtain certification.
The possibilities offered by digital solutions extend far beyond that, however, and help to reduce costs, time and CO2 emissions. “Climate change and digitalisation are the key drivers that have an impact on our customers’ business models. At SPIE, we focus on long-term business relationships that are based on partnership, which means we can identify our customers’ needs at an early stage. So we are able to come up with a proactive and tailor-made response to their needs – in other words to offer specific solutions”, says Dr André Schimmel, Member of the Executive Committee and Strategie, Business Development & Operations Support Director of SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa.

CSR solutions partner for sustainable buildings, production facilities and infrastructure

A multi-technical service provider, SPIE is an experienced partner providing comprehensive solutions from energy optimisation to renewable energies. “Climate protection is one of the biggest political, social and technical challenges of our time. We see ourselves as part of the solution for this important task and are proud to accompany our customers on the path to a climate-neutral future. With our wide-ranging expertise covering everything from technical facility management and technical building equipment to the realisation of plants for renewable energies, we are positioning ourselves as an CSR solutions partner for sustainable buildings, production facilities and infrastructure”, says Markus Holzke, Managing Director of SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa.
