Paris, October 11th, 2017 - SPIE ICS, the digital services subsidiary of the SPIE group, and Mitel, one of the world leaders in the area of business communications, have pooled together their expertise in the field of Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS). The ‘ready to use’ Cloud solutions offered by SPIE ICS and Mitel make it possible for businesses to undergo a gradual and efficient transition to more collaborative practices.
Businesses are nowadays expressing a strong demand for collaboration and mobility solutions that will support them in their digital transformation and keep them up to speed with changes in practices.
The two solutions offer a rich user experience owing to their mobile-first design and advanced group communication and collaboration functions (online meetings, discussion forums and document sharing platforms) for employees either in the office or on the move.
They are underpinned by virtual infrastructure in the Cloud, thereby creating a model that is relatively inexpensive to use and more flexible.
The two solutions offered by SPIE ICS, which are based on Mitel’s MiCloud software, stand out in the field through their ability to provide local support to users and promote increased interaction in working relationships. Moreover, a dedicated portal will allow the user to access online support, train themselves autonomously and customise their working environment.
These two solutions target different categories of clients: Crystal Advanced is intended for ISEs[i], while Crystal Essential is intended for MSMEs[ii].
- With Crystal Advanced, ISEs will be able to deploy a private or hybrid cloud adapted to their business needs (contact centres, telephone helplines, etc.), with monthly subscription packages tailored to their specific uses (telecommuting, web conferences, video conferences, etc.). This solution includes services that are focused on the availability and security of the applications, covering everything from analysis of the existing system to exploitation with service centres close to the clients.
- Crystal Essential will provide MSMEs with a public cloud solution that is flexible and easy to implement. It is available in packages that are adapted to different user profiles, depending on their mobility needs. This solution incorporates telephone communication packages to landlines and mobile phones, and Mitel’s own MiTeam collaboration software.
