Spie Ile-de-France Nord-Ouest confirms its strong territorial position in the urban communities of Evry and Cergy
Two consecutive successes in the field of public lighting bear out the effectiveness of its strategy of providing local presence and developing local markets around the main branches of its Ile-de-France regional network.
  • Urban community of Evry Centre Essonne (Evry, Courcouronnes, Bondoufle, Lisses)
A contract for the maintenance of public lighting and traffic lights, obtained in 2003 following a 12-year public service works concession, has recently been renewed for a further four years and its scope has been extended to included the commune of Ris-Orangis.
The services to be provided cover preventive and remedial maintenance for 17,000 light fittings, 110 traffic light controlled road junctions, and the corresponding power distribution systems and substations.
The contract, worth up to €4.8 million a year, was won by a consortium which is 50% controlled by the Paris Sud-Est regional office.
  • Cergy-Pontoise urban community
A six-year contract for work on the preventive and remedial maintenance, renovation, upgrading and power optimisation of its 16,000 major road lighting fixtures has been awarded to the Paris Nord-Ouest regional office by the urban community of Cergy-Pontoise, which comprises 12 communes and has a population of 185,000.
This work, worth €5.6 million a year, was won by a consortium which is 50% controlled by SPIE.
For the purposes of this contract, a computer-aided maintenance management system interfaced with the customer's GIS will be set up and will be accessible for consultation on the Internet.
Our service teams will use vehicles equipped with graphic tablets and GPS so that, when they detect faults, they will be able to transmit the relevant information in real time by GPRS radio link detected and to draw up service reports.
