SPIE Ile-de-France Nord-Ouest helps develop the Villages Natures project

... an innovative holiday destination near Paris.

Villages Nature is a project that will offer a new holiday destination for short and medium-length stays on a European scale, founded on the quest for harmony between people and nature. Conceived jointly by two major players in tourism – Euro Disney et Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs – this location is mainly centred on the town of Bailly-Romainvilliers, 6 km from Disneyland Paris and 32 km from Paris.

This is currently Europe’s biggest tourism project and will eventually cover 259 hectares. The Plus-Elec subsidiary of SPIE Ile-de-France Nord-Ouest (IDFNO) has been entrusted with electrical installation work for 772 cottages, representing one-fifth of the accommodation units to be provided over a five-year period (with a total area of 120 hectares). The contract is worth a total of more than €5 million.

Customers will also be provided with a number of leisure facilities including, in particular, a vast aquatic complex with a 2,500 sq. m geothermally heated, open-air lagoon, wave pools, waterfalls and slides.

This large-scale project, which will be managed by Freddy Durinde, strengthens the position of the SPIE Ile-de-France Nord-Ouest housing department in the tourist accommodation market. It is scheduled to be opened to the public in the second half of 2016.
