Saint-Denis, October 6th, 2017 – SPIE Île-de-France Nord-Ouest, a subsidiary of the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, is holding its second ‘Supplier Day’ this coming Friday, 6 October. With a focus on new lighting solutions, this event provides the opportunity for all suppliers of SPIE Île-de-France Nord-Ouest to showcase their latest innovations in the areas of energy efficiency, user-friendliness and safety.
Following the success of its first ‘Supplier Day’ in 2016 on the theme of smart buildings, SPIE Île-de-France Nord-Ouest is delighted to be repeating the experience for the second year running. The aim is to bring together current and future SPIE suppliers so that they may present, over the course of a morning, their high-tech offerings and innovations, designed for industrial and tertiary customers, in the area of lighting.
A novel approach
For SPIE Île-de-France Nord-Ouest, the main idea behind this event is to enable it to keep offering its customers the latest solutions, both in terms of product innovation and commercial range. From the biggest names in lighting to start-ups, suppliers will meet some 150 to 200 corporate representatives to discuss new opportunities and market trends, in a relaxed atmosphere. The format is very popular with suppliers. Bringing competitors together under one roof can lead to healthy rivalry and dialogue. “In addition to our existing strategic suppliers, we are also inviting potential new partners to present their innovations to us with a view to working together to develop lighting solutions that meet the challenges of the ever-changing market,” explains Mathieu Bancourt, Purchasing and Real Estate Director at SPIE Île-de-France Nord-Ouest.
Constantly evolving requirements
Energy saving and user-friendliness are two key issues on which SPIE wants to focus in both the industrial and tertiary sector. “These days our customers are familiar with LEDs,” comments Nicolas Demarquette from the Purchasing Department at SPIE Île-de-France Nord-Ouest. “Now we can combine this type of technology with smart systems. This can mean savings to the tune of tens of thousands of euros, on both industrial and tertiary sites. ” All these new solutions meet current and future regulations, in particular tertiary building requirements which come into force on 1st January 2018.
