Saint Jean-de-Braye, 15 June 2015 – SPIE Ouest-Centre has announced the inauguration of its new Saint Jean-de-Braye site, in Orléans.
This recent centre, uniting 120 employees previously working from two different locations in the Orléans area, represents a step forward in the development of this regional, multi-technical services subsidiary of the SPIE Group.
Established in the Orléans region for nearly 20 years, SPIE Ouest-Centre has achieved constant growth of its business in the key areas of industry, multi-technical maintenance, the commercial sector, telecommunications, street lighting, energy efficiency, the smart city and the installation of electric vehicle charging points.
Local projects in which SPIE Ouest-Centre has participated include the following, in particular: building facade dynamic lighting for the Orléans regional fund for contemporary art (Fond Régional d’Art Contemporain d’Orléans), the Orange telephone exchange in Orléans, optical fibre network deployment over a wide area, multi-technical maintenance for CNRS in Orléans, the installation of street lighting in the city of Orléans, and industrial maintenance at the Flammarion site in Sermaise.
In addition to spotlighting its business activities and its new premises complying with the latest environmental standards, SPIE Ouest-Centre will introduce its guests to new electric vehicle charging technologies and invite them to test drive electric vehicles manufactured by its partner, Renault.
“These offices will provide SPIE with a new showcase for SPIE in Orléans and a new working environment,” says Patrick Hallier, director of the SPIE Ouest-Centre Sarthe Val-de-Loire office. “SPIE Ouest-Centre will really feel the benefit of these new premises, which enhance the synergy between department, to strengthen its local presence and its offering in all the markets where it is already well positioned.”
