Zwolle, the Netherlands, March 9th, 2017 – SPIE, the independent European leader for multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has just been awarded the contract for the day-to-day maintenance and management of the electrical installations of 35 bridges and locks in the Dutch province of Overijssel, lying in the north-east of the country. The quality plan put forward by SPIE guarantees continuous improvement in the performance levels of these facilities, and fully meets the province's requirements. The contract will enter into force in March 2017.
Over the last few years, the company Alewijnse TB Zwolle – now part of SPIE Nederland – has been in charge of the region. The services were recently re-tendered, with particular importance being placed on quality criteria, which SPIE Nederland was able to ensure by basing its proposal on a performance contract.
Rick Schuller, Commercial Manager at SPIE Technisch Beheer in Zwolle, is delighted that the partnership has been renewed. “This contract falls perfectly in line with our core business. Our knowledge and experience both provide added value to the customer. What makes it even more exceptional is that we're going to be working alongside Jansen Venneboer, which is also part of SPIE Nederland BV. They'll be in charge of mechanical maintenance.” Both of these SPIE subsidiaries already know how to get along well. “This will bring even more benefits to this project,” Schuller promises.
