Cergy, July 1st, 2015 – SPIE announced the signing of a facilities management contract with Generali for 96 of the insurance group’s sites in France, most of them being offices and one a training centre.
This renewable three-year contract includes multi-technical maintenance services, including HVAC and smoke removal, high-voltage electricity, sanitary plumbing, kitchen equipment, automatic doors, UPS systems, the supervision of lift maintenance contracts carried out by SPIE’s five French regional subsidiaries (SPIE Ouest Centre, SPIE Est, SPIE Sud-Est and SPIE Sud-Ouest, SPIE Ile-de-France Nord-Ouest) and “soft services” (cleaning, rodent control, insect disinfestation, disinfecting, green spaces, drinking fountains and waste removal) carried out by a partner company.
Under the supervision of SPIE which will be the sole contact for the contract, this combination of services will optimise Generali’s site operating costs and improve the efficiency of its installations.
“The client’s requirements for overall supervision via a single contact and clearly defined distribution of operations were decisive factors in obtaining this contract,” says Benoît Dupille, Key Accounts Project Manager in SPIE’s business development and marketing department. “We also submitted a very high-quality tender including some key features, such as our close-knit network, our customer references for multi-site contracts and proposals in the field of sustainable development.”
