Continuous integration of acquired companies into the SPIE management system
Ratingen, 19th December 2017 – The European independent leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications SPIE is growing. In order to uphold its high quality standards, SPIE is continuously implementing its cross-divisional management system throughout the expanded corporate network, thereby allowing it to optimize and harmonize various tools and processes. Implementation and fulfilment are regularly checked by the independent certification body TÜV NORD CERT.
One element of SPIE's growth strategy is to integrate all of its divisions into its best practice-based management system as early as possible – in line with ONE SPIE. Standardized processes, known as internal control standards, are also being systematically implemented at the newly acquired units. All the companies in Germany and Central Europe that joined SPIE up to 2016 have now successfully introduced the management system with no deviations. In this way, the independent European market leader for multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications is promoting an open corporate culture with the three defined values of performance, responsibility and proximity. Thanks to its comprehensive branch network, SPIE's teams are always close to the customer at more than 200 locations throughout Germany.
Uniform business processes
The objective of the ONE SPIE strategy is to standardize the relevant cross-divisional business processes and permanently measure their fulfilment. Best practice approaches are currently being developed locally in integration workshops with a view to continuously improving internal processes. "This will allow us to optimally expand our technical expertise, extend our service range and increase our local presence in order to benefit our customers in particular," explains Marc Kämper, Management Representative at SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa. "In addition to our successful growth, we are integrating the new units professionally and with foresight. This impressively confirms the successful matrix certification of TÜV NORD CERT in accordance with the standards DIN EN ISO 9001: 2015 (quality management system), DIN EN ISO 14001: 2015 (environmental management system), OHSAS 18001: 2007 (occupational safety management system) and DIN EN 50001: 2011 (energy management system). "
