Five-year contract with Deutsche Messe AG
Hanover, August 1st, 2017 – Hanover is one of the largest trade fair grounds in the world with an exhibition area of just under 500,000 m2. SPIE Fleischhauer has been providing electricity to the exhibitors in half of the halls since the beginning of the year. The multi-technical services provider was awarded the contract following an invitation to tender by operator Deutsche Messe AG, thereby increasing its scope of services considerably.
The aim of the tender was to significantly reduce the number of service providers in the electrical area. Since the beginning of the year, just two companies have been sharing the task of providing electricity for the huge trade fair grounds. They ensure not only that the exhibitors can present themselves in the best light, they are also responsible for supplying power to all the devices, from coffee machines all the way to demonstration equipment. It is a challenging task. Matthias Menzel, Head of the Hanover branch of SPIE Fleischhauer, is thrilled: “We have already handled this task successfully at the CeBIT, the Hanover Messe and many other events this year.”
SPIE Fleischhauer’s 30 years of experience on the trade fair grounds are certainly one reason for its winning performance. In addition, SPIE Fleischhauer provides its services in the fields of data network, security and media technology.
“We see the five-year contract as a form of recognition for our long-standing successful partnership with Deutsche Messe AG. We are delighted that this important customer has intensified its cooperation with us,” says Menzel.
