London, UK – 12 March 2014 - SPIE, the independent European leader in electrical and mechanical engineering and HVAC services, energy and communication systems, has today announced that Douglas Brash has been appointed as the new Managing Director of SPIE’s Building Services business, effective immediately.
With over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry in both managerial and engineering positions, Douglas is very well positioned as the new Managing Director for SPIE UK’s Building Services division, bringing to the role a deep understanding of the individual business markets across the UK. Douglas joins SPIE UK from his role as Managing Director of Rotary Southern Limited, where he was responsible for all aspects of the business from business strategy and project programming, to planning and financial measures.
In his role as Managing Director for Building Services, Douglas will work with regional teams across the UK to expand SPIE UK’s Building Services’ solutions and capabilities. He will also be responsible for the SPIE Matthew Hall, SPIE Alard and SPIE Garside Laycock businesses.
